for Art City New Brunswick, 10/18/26 Outdoor Festival

coLAB Arts invites artists, artisans, art institutions, galleries, and creative arts organizations to apply for vendor space at our vibrant one-day outdoor Art City, a celebration of fine art and public art in downtown New Brunswick.

This festival features art, creativity, culture, and community—bringing together local and regional artists with thousands of residents, students, visitors, and collectors.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome vendor applications from:

  • Visual artists (painting, illustration, photography, sculpture)

  • Artisans (jewelry, ceramics, textiles, wood, leather, glass, books)

  • Designers and creative entrepreneurs

  • Art galleries and artist collectives

  • Museums, art schools, and cultural institutions

  • Nonprofit arts organizations

  • Community-based creative programs

All work must be original fine art and of museum-quality. No mass-produced or imported goods.

Vendor Space Includes

  • One (1) 10’ x 10’ outdoor vendor space

  • Exposure to arts and cultural audience

  • Promotion via festival marketing and social media

  • Opportunity to sell artwork, merchandise, or share information

Vendors must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and display materials.

One-Day Vendor Fees

(To keep the festival accessible while supporting event costs)

  • Individual Artists & Artisans: $100

  • Artist Collectives (2–3 artists sharing one booth): $150

  • Galleries & Art Institutions: $200

  • Nonprofit Arts & Cultural Organizations: $150

  • Youth / Student Artists (with high school or college ID): $75 (festival will provide shared tent, tables, and chairs)

A limited number of fee waivers or discounts may be available for greater New Brunswick-based or emerging artists.

Important Details

  • Vendors are responsible for sales tax compliance

  • Vendors are responsible for filing one-day applications with the City of New Brunswick (Link to blank form for reference)

  • Setup and breakdown times will be provided upon acceptance

  • Electricity is not guaranteed

  • All applications are juried to ensure a high-quality, diverse festival experience
